When your spouse/partner is outside of Australia then you apply for this visa. The application has to be made outside Australia and the applicant must be outside Australia when it is granted. This visa options is for spouse/partner of an Australian citizen, permanent resident or eligible New Zealand citizen to apply for residency when they are in Australia. The applicant has to be in Australia at the time of application and when visa granted. This visa also have two stages, temporary and permanent visa.

Documents required for application:

• Two of Form 888 – Statutory declaration by a supporting witness in relation to a Partner or a Prospective Marriage visa application.
• Proof that your relationship is genuine and continuing.
• If you are married, your marriage certificate
• Any other documents proving that your relationship is genuine and continue.
• Police Check might be reuired for applicant and sponsor.
